Adding your business to ListedIn US has several distinct advantages, including providing an additional vehicle to multiply your online presence, connecting you with search engines like Google and Bing at a fraction of the cost, enhancing the credibility of your businesses by linking with other reputable organizations in your business, and establish trust through authentic customer reviews and ratings. How can I list my business on this directory? Can I submit multiple business listings if I own more than one business?Yes! All businesses are invited to be part of the ListedIn US community. Although ListedIn US is principally meant for businesses in the United States, international business may also be included among the listings. To list your business, create an account here. With a verified account, you may add a listing here. With business with multiple locations, you may create unique listings that are responsive to each location. 
Is it free to list my business on the directory? Do you offer advertising or premium listing options for businesses?

Due to a anonymous and generous grant from a small business listed on the platform, all listings are heavily subsidized in such a way that free listings are being phased out. Paid listings provide a comprehensive array of features to optimize your listing for maximum traffic and engagement. Commitment levels are very affordable: 1 year for $10, 5 years for $30, and 10 years for $50. You may cancel your paid membership at any time with your membership ending at the conclusion of your paid term. Once charged, memberships are non-refundable. 

ListedIn US is a committed ad-free zone. In other words, ListedIn US reserves all space and platform resources for the exclusive use of listed businesses and website visitors. We are so grateful to the many businesses who help sustain this community with their annual memberships.

Are there any guidelines or policies for businesses listed on the directory?

All content on ListedIn US is meant to be appropriate for a general audience.  Inappropriate content includes harassment, hate speech, personal information one would not reasonably want to be publicly available (e.g., social security number, financial records), obscenities, profanity, sexually-explicit and adult-themed content, violence and gore, illegal activities, child endangerment, terrorist content, gibberish and unnecessarily repetitive content, defacing and mischievous content, misinformation or misrepresentation, impersonation, and similar content. 

In terms of making the most of your business listing, ListedIn US published guides, suggestions, and other relevant information on the site’s Blog. These articles provide information regarding why directory listings are important parts of organizations’ marketing efforts and suggestions for structuring listings for maximum outcomes. More generally are articles from fellow businesses regarding their leadership in their respective industries as well as navigating the waters of small business ownership and entrepreneurship.

Are there any promotional or marketing opportunities for businesses on the directory?Yes! All paid listings have access to the broader array of listing types, including Blogs. Subscribers may place unlimited and free listings of these types to promote and market their products and services to ListedIn US website visitors.
What information do I need to provide when submitting my business listing?

To maximize reach and impact, businesses can provide an array of information, including company name, business summary, business description, photos that highlight products and services, business hours (for physical storefronts), addresses, locations, phone number, website, links to social profiles, and time zone, to name just a few. To optimize listings to be found among search engine results (e.g., Google searches), search engine optimization (SEO) titles, keywords, and descriptions may also be specified.

Can I edit or update my business listing information later?Yes! We cannot stress enough the importance of editing and updating your listing to be consistent with current products and service offerings, promotions, limited time offers, holidays and other remembrance dates, etc. This communicates engagement and interest to potential customers. Do not let your listing be the one advertising 2021 promotions years after the promotions have ended. Use your listing to announce location changes, changes in management/leadership, teasers for new products and services to be offered in the near future, etc.
How do I search for businesses on the directory? How often is the directory updated with new businesses and information?You may search for businesses from almost every platform page, beginning with the homepage. Use combinations of keywords, company names, nationwide and international locations, and categories, you can explore the tens of thousands of offerings. New listings are added every day and current businesses may adjust their listings at any time and as frequently as it serves their needs. 
Are the businesses listed on this directory verified or vetted in any way?

All businesses on ListedIn US are placed and managed by business representatives themselves. ListedIn US does not scrape the internet or otherwise acquire lists of businesses to be included in the directory. As such, all information is provided and maintained by business owners or their representatives. This ensures that website visitors are connecting with business owners who have explicitly chosen to provide their information to be shown on the platform. Business owners are responsible for the accuracy, quality, and upkeep of the information: ListedIn US only provides the mechanism through which businesses communicate their messages to a captive, small business-friendly audience. Individual users of ListedIn US are strongly encouraged to adequately research listed businesses and their products and services prior to establishing a business relationship. 

Note: You will see options for businesses to be claimed on the platform. Beginning in October 2023, ListedIn US upgraded and migrated its database to a more sustainable interface with many enhanced features and security protocols. To maximize the protection of potentially sensitive usernames, passwords, financial, demographic, and other information during the migration, these were omitted. Instead, listing owners from the prior platform have been notified of and asked to claim their directory listings on the new platform. Until business owners claim their listings, they will continue to be shown as unclaimed. 

Is there a review and rating system for businesses on the directory? How can I leave a review for a business listed on the directory?

Yes! Beginning in October 2023, ListedIn US upgraded and migrated its database to a more sustainable interface with many enhanced features and security protocols. Part of those enhanced features include a rating and review process for customers to share their experiences with businesses listed on the platform. Customers may rate businesses on their overall experience as well as in the areas of product/service quality, professionalism, communication, timeliness, and value.

Leaving a review is easy. Find the business with which you have experience and click Add Review on the top right of their personalized page. When the review page loads, you may select the quantity of stars that represent your experience (1 star = poor experience, 5 = excellent experience). You may provide a title for your review as well as leave a review that adds context to the ratings you provided.

How can I report inaccurate or inappropriate information about a business?

All information about businesses is provided and maintained by the businesses themselves. You may message businesses through the platform and share with them your concerns with the accuracy of their listings.

We will promptly address these issues with listing owners and, where appropriate, remove listings and users from the platform who fail to uphold these expectations.

Is my personal information safe when I use this directory?Yes! The platform upon which ListedIn US is designed with enterprise-grade reliability and code quality standards. The platform is hosted on servers attentive to identify, prevent, detect, respond, and remediate to security risks. Sensitive data (e.g., usernames, passwords, financial information) is encrypted when stored. 
Can I access this directory on mobile devices or through a mobile app?Yes! This directory is available on and very responsive to mobile devices.
